Kentucky Flag Half-Staff
Governer Beshear Orders That Kentucky State Flag Remains Half Staffed On March 1st

Kentucky, Feb 27: Governor Steve Beshear issued orders for the Kentucky State Flag to be lowered to half-staff on Monday, March 1, 2010 to pay respect for Kentucky Soldier Lance Cpl. Peak . Marine Lance Cpl. Adam D. Peak, a Kentuckian died supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
According to the Department of Defense, our US Marine, Adam D. Peak, died on Feb. 21 while supporting combat operations in the Helmand province of Afghanistan. His assignment was with the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division of Marine Expeditionary Force, out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Funeral services for Lance Cpl. Peak are to be held on March 1 at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Lakeside, Kentuky. Burial services will be held at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.

Los Angeles, CA: Investigating Authorities continue work on the apparent suicide of Michael Blosil. The 18 year old, a student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising’ is the son of entertainer Marie Osmond.
Many particulars regarding this situation, such as exactly where Michael died are not yet determined. Los Angeles Law Enforcement responded to the incident on or about 10 pm at the 900 block of South Flower Street. The investigation details are still pending release and is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Marie Osmond said, “My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.”
Our sympathy is there for the family of Michael Blosil.
